Brianna O. Mangum, PA

“I enjoy helping people get back their functionality. Whether we are repairing a fracture or replacing an arthritic joint, I love to see people recover and get back to doing what they enjoy.”

Mangum is a board-certified physician assistant. She specializes in orthopedics and sports medicine, including arthritis, sprains, fractures and overuse injuries. She has a particular interest in total hip and knee replacements.

Mangum’s father was also an orthopedic PA. She started her medical career as a surgical technologist in the operating room and was quickly drawn to orthopedics.

She received her physician assistant training at Wake Forest University.

Outside of work, she loves the outdoors, including hiking, kayaking and fishing/crabbing. She also enjoys reading a wide variety of fiction and philosophy books.
