Sports have always been a central part of my life, shaping not only my career but also the way I approach challenges, connect with others and define success. As a former competitive athlete, I developed a deep appreciation for the role that movement plays in our physical and mental well-being. Today, as an orthopedic sports medicine surgeon, I have the opportunity to combine my love for athletics with my passion for medicine to help people stay active and live life on their own terms.

My practice focuses on injuries of the knee, shoulder, and ankle, including ligament, cartilage, fracture and soft tissue conditions. I offer both surgical and nonsurgical treatment options, with specialized training in arthroscopic and minimally invasive techniques. I recognize that no two patients have the same needs, and I believe the most effective treatment plans are built through open communication, shared decision-making, and a clear understanding of each person's goals.

I also have a strong commitment to advancing orthopedic medicine through research, education and mentorship. My work has been published in numerous peer-reviewed journals, and I remain dedicated to improving patient outcomes and expanding opportunities for future generations of physicians.

I received my medical degree at the Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California and completed my orthopedic surgery residency at NYU Langone Health. I went on to complete fellowship training in orthopedic sports medicine at Duke University, where I helped provide medical coverage for Duke men's basketball and football, as well as North Carolina Central University football.

What I value most about being a surgeon is the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in someone's life. Whether I'm helping an athlete return to competition or helping someone regain the ability to enjoy everyday activities, I want my patients to feel that they have a trusted partner in their care. My goal is not simply to treat an injury, but to help each person regain their mobility, rebuild their confidence and get back to doing what matters most to them.
