Valente is a board-certified family nurse practitioner. She practices with the Inpatient Solid Tumor Oncology Team at Atrium Health Morehead Medical Plaza.

She received her master’s degree from the State University of New York and her doctorate of nursing practice (DNP) degree as a family nurse practitioner at East Carolina University.
