Dr. Howell is board certified in pediatrics. She specializes in preventive care and general care of children from infancy through adolescence.
She strives to deliver the best possible care to the patients and families she serves, honoring the variety of cultures and practices those patients represent.
Dr. Howell is the site lead at Atrium Health Primary Care Davidson Clinic and the assistant specialty medical director of general pediatrics for Atrium Health Levine Children’s Hospital. She speaks Spanish.
Dr. Howell received her medical degree at The Ohio State University and completed residency at Nationwide Children’s Hospital.
She and her family enjoy public radio, road trips, ice cream, the architecture of older neighborhoods and their rescue pups, Cymba and Cizu. Dr. Howell has performed West African dances with the Shae Movement dance company. She and her husband created puppet shows for virtual family gatherings during the pandemic.
