Carrasquillo is a board-certified family nurse practitioner. She has a clinical interest in palliative medicine.
She felt drawn to her specialty because of the lack of support for end-of-life care. Carrasquillo feels there is tremendous support for patients and families upon entering the world and believes there should be an equal amount of support for the end of life.
She received her master’s degree in nursing at Samford University.
Carrasquillo is married and has a son. She loves to run outside, listen to music and spend time with her family.
