“Since I was a little girl, I wanted to become a nurse. The enjoyment I received from helping others then was exhilarating, and the feeling has not waned. I chose to become a nurse practitioner to further my career and offer more services to my patients.”
D’Souza i s a board-certified nurse practitioner who provides care to children and their parents, along with working directly with pediatric doctors and surgeons to develop treatment plans. She is the chief advanced practice provider for CHIPS Hospitalist and Newborn Nursery.
She wanted to be a nurse since childhood. Throughout her career, helping others has brought her great joy.
She earned her graduate degree from the University of North Carolina.
Outside of work, she and her family enjoy traveling and spending time together – whether it’s hiking in national parks or dining out in major cities.
