Biography
“As an allergist, I have an incredible opportunity to treat patients of all ages for a variety of conditions, build lasting relationships with patients and families and positively impact their quality of life.”
Dr. Hobbs is board certified in allergy and immunology. She specializes in treating every type of allergic condition and asthma. She is a committee member for the Ambulatory Patient Experience Workgroup and a preceptor for medical students and residents.
Dr. Hobbs was named a Top Doctor by Charlotte Magazine for multiple years. She decided to pursue medicine after seeing how rewarding it was for her grandfather, who enjoyed a long career as a pediatrician. Dr. Hobbs has a passion for her field and enjoys learning about new and interesting treatments on the horizon.
She received a master’s degree in Physiology and Biophysicis as well as her medical degree at Georgetown University. Dr. Hobbs then completed a residency and fellowship at the University of North Carolina.
She, her husband and their 3 children love escaping to the mountains to hike and relax together. She also enjoys running outdoors and doing yoga any chance she gets.
