Biography
“I love watching kids grow, learn new things and become their own people with individual personalities. Kids are so resilient, and it makes taking care of them so rewarding. I love supporting parents and caregivers and helping them tackle obstacles, address concerns and celebrate victories. I also love working with teens. There are so many unique stresses and challenges that teens face, and as their pediatrician, I want to do my best to help them navigate these challenges, feel seen and heard and become an active participant in their health care.”
Dr. Cassandra Graeff is board certified in pediatrics. She has a special interest in behavior and mental health concerns, including attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), depression and anxiety. She treats children from newborns through age 21.
After taking an anatomy and physiology class in high school, Dr. Graeff knew becoming a doctor was her dream. She developed a love for working with children while caring for her younger brother and sister while she was in high school and college. She found it rewarding to teach them new things, help them accomplish their goals and make sure they were safe and healthy.
Dr. Graeff received her medical degree at Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine and completed residency at Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Outside of work, she and her husband love spending time with their son, 3 dogs, Roxy, Daisy and Dewey, and cat, Binx. They love being outdoors jogging, fishing, walking on trails and going to the beach.
