Biography

“I’m motivated by a desire to make my patients' lives easier. I feel privileged to have the medical knowledge to help others, and I consider it my purpose to use that knowledge to help children and their families.”

Catie Ingland is a board-certified physician assistant. She focuses on treating attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), autism and general developmental concerns.

Ingland had a previous career as an occupational therapy assistant. That educational and career experience shaped her interest in working in developmental pediatrics as a PA. She enjoys helping patients reach developmental milestones and working with families to help their children lead successful, independent lives.

As an undergraduate, she conducted research in a pediatric feeding lab where she worked with children on the autism spectrum who had food aversions.

Ingland received her bachelor’s degree in psychology with a concentration in applied behavioral analysis (ABA) at the University of North Carolina Wilmington and her master’s degree in physician assistant studies at Elon University.

Away from work, she loves spending time with her husband and dog, Goose. She also enjoys photography, reading and baking.
