Dr. Rainbow is board certified in family medicine and primary care sports medicine. She has a clinical interest in joint and soft tissue injections, sports-related concussion management, musculoskeletal injuries and gait analysis.
She is a team physician at Winthrop University. She has been named a Charlotte magazine Top Doctor multiple times and was recognized by Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center with a Patients’ Choice Award.
Dr. Rainbow received her medical degree at Eastern Virginia Medical School and completed a residency at Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center. She completed her primary care sports medicine fellowship at Cone Health.
When not working, Dr. Rainbow enjoys traveling internationally, playing with her 2 Jack Russell terriers, jogging, skiing and playing tennis.
