Cecelia Brown is a hospital-based certified nurse midwife and women’s health nurse practitioner. She provides basic gynecologic as well as obstetric care. She strongly encourages preventive health screenings for her patients each year.
Even before she attended nursing school in Pennsylvania, she was drawn to the field of women’s health and was further inspired by one of her professors in college. Brown went on to earn her master’s degree in nursing at Georgetown University.
When Brown is not at work, she loves spending time outdoors and visiting her family, especially her nieces and nephews in Maryland. She enjoys fitness classes, live music or just curling up with a good book. Her significant other is an airline pilot, and they travel together as much as possible.
