Calhoun is a board-certified physician assistant.
She became interested in medicine as a teenager while watching a medical team take care of her mother, who was diagnosed with breast cancer. Her mother is still cancer-free 28 years later.
Calhoun enjoys partnering with her patients and their families, identifying their problems and working to overcome them.
She received her physician assistant degree at Wake Forest University.
Calhoun and her family enjoy hiking, fishing and spending time together at the beach. She also likes to play the piano.
