“I work to make a positive difference in the lives of children and their families during a difficult time. Children are incredibly resilient and helping them overcome challenges during their recovery is so rewarding.”
Cheryl Bansch is a board-certified acute care pediatric nurse practitioner. Her clinical interest is in pediatric physical medicine and rehabilitation.
Bansch had the opportunity to complete a clinical rotation with a pediatric physical medicine and rehabilitation team. She quickly fell in love with the patient population and found her past experiences working in both ICU and home care provided her with the skills to contribute to patients' and families' experiences in a meaningful way.
Bansch received her master’s degree in nursing at Vanderbilt University.
She is married with 2 children. She loves to read all genres, visit the beach and watch sports, especially when her children are the ones competing.
