I’m a board-certified family nurse practitioner with a special interest in pediatrics and adolescent medicine. I enjoy performing procedures such as birth control implant insertions and removals. I also manage teen depression and anxiety medications in conjunction with therapy.
I initially started my healthcare career as a doula, assisting women through childbirth and the postpartum period. I eventually found my way to pediatric emergency medicine and have been taking care of children and young adults ever since.
My father is a physician and my mother was a teacher, so the desire to help others was instilled in me from a young age.
I received my family nurse practitioner training at Frontier Nursing University.
I spend a lot of time with my two teenagers who keep me on my toes. I love hiking with my dog and traveling anywhere. I feel there is nothing better than seeing what the world has to teach us through exploring new places.
