Dr. Vorobej is board certified in family medicine with a specialty in sports medicine. She has a clinical interest in acute fracture management, casting and splinting, regenerative medicine, and the diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal issues, sports-related concussions, overuse injuries and nonoperative osteoarthritis.
She received her medical degree at The University of Toledo and completed a residency at East Carolina University.
Dr. Vorobej is married to a doctor who specializes in emergency medicine, and they have 2 sons. As a family, they enjoy spending time with their sheltie, swimming in Lake Norman and exploring the area. Originally from Ohio, she appreciates Charlotte’s warmer weather and proudly says she no longer owns an ice scraper.
