It may sound like a cliché, but children are our future. Kids are open and honest. It’s very hard to have a bad day when it’s filled with funny moments, smiles and laughter. From snuggly babies to snarky teenagers, I enjoy interacting with them all.
As a board-certified pediatrician, I hold a hybrid position with virtual primary care and the extended care clinic at Rock Hill Pediatrics. I enjoy providing both well and sick care, with a special interest in attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and behavior concerns.
I always knew I wanted to work with children, and when I decided to become a doctor, pediatrics was the perfect fit for me. I can have no greater impact in life than making a difference for even just one child.
I received my medical degree at the University of Missouri - Kansas City School of Medicine and completed residency in pediatrics at Children’s Mercy Hospital - Kansas City.
I am married with adult children and look forward to having grandchildren someday. I love to read. I enjoy going to local sporting events, especially football and baseball. One of my hobbies is refurbishing old doll houses and donating them to children with special needs. I recently found LEGO bricks and wonder where they have been my whole life!
