Dr. Secrest specializes in obstetrics and gynecology (OB/GYN).
Growing up, she was a gymnast and was initially interested in orthopedic surgery. She loved the idea of "fixing" someone and helping them get back to the best version of themselves. However, as her interest in medicine grew, she became an OB/GYN because she wanted to care for women throughout their lives.
What gets her excited about going to work each day is the bond she forms with each patient. Whether it’s delivering a woman’s first or last baby, helping through surgery or simply chatting during a wellness visit, she’s dedicated to caring for patients throughout their entire lives.
Dr. Secrest earned her medical degree from the University of Tennessee and completed her residency at Augusta University.
She and her husband met on the swim team at Davidson College and celebrated the birth of their first son in 2020. They love going back to their alma mater for basketball games. They also enjoy hiking and skiing.
