Christopher Foster is a board-certified family nurse practitioner who focuses on primary care and family medicine for patients of all ages.
His father’s work as a volunteer firefighter and EMT inspired Foster to study medicine. He became an EMT who went on to serve as a combat medic on active duty in the U.S. Army. For more than 25 years, he has worked in multiple patient care settings, including emergency medicine, urgent care, intensive care, interventional radiology and critical care transport.
Foster received his master’s degree in nursing at Winston-Salem State University in 2012.
He is married with 6 children. Outside of work, his passions include mountain biking, road cycling, running and grappling. He also loves cooking and music, especially R&B, funk, soul and jazz. Foster serves in the U.S. Navy Reserve.
