"I see people with grave illness and little hope, and I strive daily to make every effort using my talents and available tools to help them heal, give them hope and improve their lives."
Dr. Poor is board certified in pulmonary medicine and critical care medicine and specializes in asthma, COPD and interstitial lung disease.
Dr. Poor chose pulmonary medicine as his specialty because he enjoys helping people in the clinic as well as in the ICU and seeing patients improve from a critical illness.
He has always loved helping people and knew he wanted to be a doctor at a young age. He feels people need to make the most of their talents and opportunities to create a better world.
Dr. Poor received his medical degree at Augusta University and completed his residency and a fellowship at the University of Florida.
He loves spending time traveling with his wife and 3 kids. He loves to cook, listen to music from the 80’s and watch his kids play sports, from golf to volleyball. He is a Boston native and a huge Red Sox and Patriots fan.
