Biography
“I chose family medicine because I enjoy partnering with patients to provide an integrated approach to achieve optimum health through prevention, diet, physical activity, spiritual wellness, stress reduction and traditional medicine when appropriate. I believe the body has the ability to heal itself when provided optimum nutrition, physical health, and stress management and a patient is fully engaged in maintaining wellness.”
Dr. Davis is board certified in family medicine and specializes in women’s health, preventive health and diabetes care. She is skilled in implantable birth control, dermatologic procedures, skin biopsies and mole, wart and toenail removals, cosmetic injections and diabetes management. She is fluent in Spanish.
Dr. Davis is the site director for Atrium Health Community Care Primary Care Archdale Family Medicine. She was named chief resident of Atrium Health Family Medicine Residency and won the Resident Teacher Award from the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine.
She received her medical degree at the University of Pittsburgh and completed residency at Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center.
In her spare time, Dr. Davis enjoys spending time with her son, singing, songwriting, traveling and practicing reiki (a form of energy healing).
