Dr. Cory Alexieff is board certified in pediatrics. He focuses on pediatric hospital medicine.
He was drawn to his specialty because he’s passionate about caring for children and their families during some of their most stressful and vulnerable times. Hospitalization can be overwhelming, and he strives to help his patients and their families feel supported, heard and reassured.
Dr. Alexieff’s pediatric health services research focuses on mental and behavioral health.
He received his bachelor’s degree at Quinnipiac University and his degree in osteopathic medicine at Lincoln Memorial University-Debusk College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Alexieff completed residency in pediatrics at Albert Einstein Medical Center, followed by a fellowship in pediatric hospital medicine at Jersey Shore University Medical Center.
Outside of work, he prioritizes spending quality time with his significant other, their families and their 2 cats. He stays active with ice hockey, running and golf. Dr. Alexieff also enjoys traveling to places where he can combine his love of the outdoors with hiking and camping, especially when there’s good food and new experiences.
