I was drawn to pediatric hospital medicine because I enjoy caring for children and their families during stressful times, and I value the opportunity to create positive, lasting impressions of doctors and medicine early in a child’s life. It is truly a privilege to work with kids – they are resilient, honest and often bring humor into even the toughest situations.
I’m board certified in general pediatrics with a clinical interest in pediatric hospital medicine. My primary area of research is pediatric health services, with a particular focus on mental health.
I earned my bachelor’s degree at Quinnipiac University and my degree in osteopathic medicine at Lincoln Memorial University-DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine. I completed my pediatric residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center, followed by a fellowship in pediatric hospital medicine at Jersey Shore University Medical Center.
I grew up playing ice hockey and still enjoy playing casually. I also love spending time outdoors cycling, hiking, camping, going on road trips filled with outdoor activities and attempting to play golf. My partner, Lauren, and I have 2 cats we adore: a gray tuxedo cat named Slate and a black Bombay cat named Jasper.
