“I decided on a career in family medicine because I enjoy building relationships and providing comprehensive care to patients of all ages. My motivation comes from seeing the reward of improved patient outcomes. This ultimately makes patients feel empowered and motivated to continue to make positive lifestyle changes. Caring for people is my true calling, and I am grateful to have figured it out."
Courtney Johnson is a board-certified family nurse practitioner. She focuses on treating chronic diseases, infectious diseases, minor illnesses and a variety of other medical conditions.
She finds it deeply rewarding to be a significant part of special life moments and loves the idea of providing holistic care.
Johnson received the Clinical Excellence Award in Primary Care from the Cabarrus Rowan Community Clinic.
She received her master’s degree in nursing at the University of North Carolina.
Outside of work, Johnson loves spending time with her husband and 2 daughters. She enjoys working out and trying new sports and activities.
