Courtney Kitchen is a board-certified advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) who specializes in neonatology (newborn babies).
Her brother was born prematurely, and his providers in the neonatal intensive care unit inspired Kitchen as a child to grow up and study this specialty. She worked for several years as a nurse, then furthered her education as a nurse practitioner.
Kitchen received her bachelor’s degree in nursing at the University of Utah and her master’s degree in nursing at East Carolina University.
Outside of work, she enjoys running, skiing and reading. She and her husband love to spend time on the lake, travel, and relax with their mini dachshund, Georgie.
