My brother was born prematurely, and his providers in the neonatal intensive care unit inspired me as a child to grow up and study this specialty. I worked for several years as a nurse, then furthered my education as a nurse practitioner.
I received my bachelor’s degree in nursing at the University of Utah and my master’s degree in nursing at East Carolina University.
Outside of work, I enjoy running, skiing and reading. My husband and I love to spend time on the lake, travel and relax with our mini dachshund, Georgie.
