Mcilveen is a certified nurse midwife. She specializes in obstetrics and gynecology (OB/GYN), prenatal care and contraceptive counseling.
She first witnessed a birth while job shadowing in high school. That experience inspired her to become a midwife.
Mcilveen received her master’s degree in nursing at the University of Cincinnati.
Away from work, she loves international travel and experiencing other cultures. She tries to visit a new country every year. At home, Mcilveen enjoys hiking, running and reading historical fiction.
