Dr. Kennedy is board certified in family medicine, specializing in dermatology and minor skin procedures. He is an assistant professor of family medicine and the director of electronic health records (EHR) education and implementation at Atrium Health.
He has been awarded recognition by the National Committee for Quality Assurance Patient-Centered Medical Home Program.
Dr. Kennedy received his medical degree at Wake Forest University and completed a residency at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
When not practicing medicine, he is a novelist with 7 published books.
