Hartnett is a board-certified family nurse practitioner. She specializes in palliative and hospice care.
While working as an intensive care nurse, she was elated when she found out her patient would be placed under the care of a palliative care consultation. Hartnett knew that meant a team was going to step in and the patient’s symptoms and diagnosis were going to be looked at from a different lens, a more comprehensive and holistic lens. She knew then she wanted to go into palliative care.
She received her family nurse practitioner training at the University of Cincinnati.
She and her husband love spending time exploring, trying out new restaurants, cooking at home and playing with their rescue dog, Ellie. They also love to travel inside and outside of the country.
