Dr. Lovin is board certified in internal medicine, pulmonary disease and critical care medicine.
He focuses on obstructive lung disease, such as asthma and COPD, interstitial lung disease, pulmonary hypertension, chronic respiratory failure, pleural diseases, pulmonary embolism, sarcoidosis, unexplained shortness of breath and chronic cough. Additionally, he helps patients with smoking cessation and post-COVID-19 respiratory symptoms.
Dr. Lovin received his medical degree at the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University and completed residency at Johns Hopkins University. He completed a pulmonary and critical care fellowship at The University of Texas Southwestern.
He and his wife, a pediatric urologist, enjoy spending time with their daughter. His hobbies include playing percussion instruments, landscaping, gardening, streaming binge-worthy TV and watching college football, especially the Georgia Bulldogs.
