Dr. Echezona Nsofor is board certified in internal medicine. He focuses on nocturnal (overnight care) for people who are hospitalized.
He treats adults with a wide range of acute and chronic conditions, including pneumonia, pulmonary embolisms, urinary tract infections, chronic heart failure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), high blood pressure and diabetes.
Internal medicine appealed to him as a specialty because he enjoys diagnostic challenges, critical thinking and opportunities to diagnose and treat a vast array of medical conditions across multiple organ systems.
Dr. Nsofor received his bachelor’s degree in biochemistry at Babcock University in Nigeria and his medical degree at the University of Medicine and Health Sciences in St. Kitts and Nevis. He completed the Morehouse School of Medicine Internal Medicine Residency program.
Outside of work, he loves spending time with his wife and son. Dr. Nsofor is an avid soccer and basketball player who also likes to travel. So far, he’s enjoyed the culture and food of more than 20 countries, and he plans to visit more.
