Edward Teng, MD, MHS

Dr. Teng grew up in Torrance, CA and attended Yale University to obtain his bachelor of science degree with honors in molecular cellular developmental biology with a concentration in biotechnology. He then stayed at the Yale University School of Medicine to complete his medical degree, taking additional time off to conduct clinical research under the Doris Duke fellowship, and graduated with an MD and MHS. After completing his general surgery internship at Yale New Haven Hospital, Dr. Teng pursued comprehensive training in all aspects of plastic surgery at Yale New Haven Hospital. Seeking the most advanced techniques in microsurgical reconstruction, Dr. Teng completed additional training at the University of Chicago microsurgery fellowship.
