Dr. Elana Fedor is board certified in internal medicine. She focuses on preventive health, women’s health and geriatrics. Conditions she treats include diabetes and hypertension.
Her high school experiences working for a doctor she admired inspired her to study medicine. She values using a broad knowledge base and a team approach to patient care.
Dr. Fedor’s research interests focus on immunology. She has published research on IgD in the Journal of Immunology and has received a Bertram M. Gesner Memorial Award for Research in Immunology.
She received her bachelor’s degree in mathematics and her medical degree at New York University. She completed residency at New York University, where she was chief resident.
Away from work, Dr. Fedor enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 adult children. She is an avid tennis player and stays active on a tennis team.
