O’Brien is a board-certified adult nurse practitioner who specializes in rheumatology.
She is skilled in rheumatological diseases and joint injections, including ultrasound guided hip injections.
She received her nurse practitioner training at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
O’Brien has many hobbies outside of work. She enjoys traveling with her husband and grown son, gardening, entertaining and cooking, particularly egg rolls and dumplings. She loves to read anything from romance novels to medical journals. She also loves to exercise, kayak and SNUBA dive, a cross between scuba diving and snorkeling.
