Emily Dickinson is a board-certified physician assistant and certified health care interpreter for Spanish. She specializes in treating patients who are hospitalized.
She was drawn to working in internal medicine as a hospitalist because she enjoys treating her patients using a holistic approach, and she likes the challenge of working with a wide variety of conditions and body systems.
She also appreciates the strong emphasis on teamwork that is inherent to hospital medicine.
Dickinson received her master’s degree in physician assistant studies at Pfeiffer University.
She enjoys spending quality time with her husband, several cats and a dog. She loves being outdoors, especially hiking and kayaking. She is an avid reader, music enthusiast and video gamer.
