Biography

Remaining active is the key to longevity. Hip and knee arthritis pain are among the most common reasons people become less active or give up things they enjoy doing. Taking away pain and enabling people to get back to things they love is what motivated me to subspecialize in hip and knee replacements.”

Dr. Eric Dilbone specializes in orthopedic surgery. His clinical interests include hip and knee surgery, hip and knee replacements, orthopedics and infections.

He received his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering at Vanderbilt University and his medical degree at Emory University. Prior to medical school, he worked as a mechanical engineer in the nuclear power industry. He completed residency Vanderbilt University and a fellowship in adult reconstruction at Duke University.

Away from work, Dr. Dilbone enjoys spending time with his wife and 2 children, watching football, baseball and basketball.
