Biography
“I love caring for the whole family and seeing people throughout the life cycle. It has been a privilege to see children I delivered grow up and become adults.”
Dr. Steinbacher is board certified in family medicine and especially enjoys women's health, sports medicine and pediatric care.
She is vice chair in the Atrium Health Department of Family Medicine and the designated institutional official at Atrium Health Cabarrus.
Dr. Steinbacher cherishes the opportunity to help patients through some of their greatest health challenges. She feels that caring for people over time allows her to develop a trusting bond that she finds gratifying.
She loves working with her hands and doing minor office procedures like mole removals and joint injections. She is most passionate about guiding patients to achieve their best physical and emotional health.
She received her medical degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and completed her residency at Group Health Cooperative of Puget Sound (now known as Group Health Cooperative).
Dr. Steinbacher loves following college athletics, going to live music events and hiking in the mountains.
