Dr. Blanks-Sheard is board certified in internal medicine. She specializes in general health and women’s health.

She is recognized by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) for diabetes care and patient-centered medical home, a model of care that puts patients at the forefront of care.

Dr. Blanks-Sheard received her medical degree and completed a residency at Wake Forest University.
