Dr. Farshad Farnejad is board certified in general surgery and critical care.
His clinical interests include simple and complex hernias, foregut surgeries, thyroid and parathyroid conditions, minor thoracic procedures, wound care, minimally invasive surgeries and colorectal surgeries.
He values practicing the broad scope of general surgery that allows a hands-on approach in the unique environment of the operating room.
Dr. Farnejad received his medical degree at St. George's University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies. He completed residency in surgery at the Jewish Hospital - Mercy Health and a fellowship at Johns Hopkins Hospital.
He is married to an emergency medicine doctor, and they are the parents of 3 sons. In their free time, Dr. Farnejad and his family enjoy biking, hiking and fishing. They also like skiing, whether on water or snow.
