Hunt is a board-certified family nurse practitioner. She specializes in obstetrics and gynecology (OB/GYN).
Hunt has always been fascinated with the human body. As an undergraduate, she fell in love with a popular medical show that showcased the strength and courage of women with health challenges. That led her to a 15-year career as a bedside nurse in women's health before returning to school to pursue training as a nurse practitioner.
She received her master’s degree in nursing at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
Outside of work, she loves spending time outdoors with her husband and 2 children and watching her children participate in sports. She also enjoys watching the true crime documentary TV show “Investigation Discovery.”
