Dr. Femke Horn is trained in neurology with special qualification in child neurology. She treats developmental delays, headaches, epilepsy, movement disorders and patients with neonatal neurology conditions.
She chose her specialty after previously working as a pediatric physical therapist. She’s dedicated to navigating diagnoses and the subsequent impacts on quality of life for patients.
Dr. Horn has conducted research on pediatric stroke outcomes.
She received a master’s degree in bioethics at Loma Linda University and a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) at Andrews University. She received her medical degree at Loma Linda University School of Medicine and completed residency in child neurology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where she served as chief resident.
Dr. Horn is married with 2 children. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, vegan baking, hiking and exploring state and national parks.
