Dr. Jose is board certified in pediatrics, specializing in gastroenterology, hepatology and nutrition. She has a clinical interest in the treatment of cystic fibrosis with gastrointestinal manifestations, pancreatitis, inflammatory bowel disease, general gastrointestinal diseases and celiac disease.
She is an associate clinical professor in the Department of Pediatrics at Atrium Health Levine Children's Hospital and Atrium Health Levine Children's Jeff Gordon Children's Center. She has conducted research on inflammatory bowel disease and cystic fibrosis with gastrointestinal manifestations.
She received her medical degree at Obafemi Awolowo University, completed a residency in pediatrics at St. Joseph’s University and a fellowship at the University of California. She also earned a master’s in advanced studies at the University of California.
When she is not working, Dr. Jose enjoys spending time with her husband, their 3 children and grandchildren. She loves exercising, particularly Zumba classes, as well as cooking, dancing and traveling. She believes strongly in positive affirmation, and her personal mantra is, “Always turn negative energy into positivity.”
