Dr. Alami is trained in psychiatry.
He is a member of the American Psychiatric Association and the North Carolina Psychiatric Association. He is fluent in English, Arabic and conversational in Spanish.
Dr. Alami received his bachelor’s degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a medical degree at St. Matthew’s University. He completed residency at East Carolina University.
Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and 2 daughters. He likes participating in competitive sports, such as basketball and football. His interests also include restoring cars and repairing small electronic devices such as cell phones, iPods and iPads.
