I feel fortunate to serve the pediatric population, and I value the bonds I can create with my patients and their families.
I am board certified in general pediatrics. I focus on pediatric hospital medicine and newborn care.
My research interests include medical education and quality improvement.
I received my bachelor’s degree in biomedical sciences at Auburn University and my degree in osteopathic medicine at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. I completed residency in pediatrics and served as chief resident at St. Christopher's Hospital for Children. I completed a fellowship in pediatric hospital medicine at The University of Alabama. Additionally, I hold a certificate in medical education from the University of Cincinnati.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, and I especially love watching my growing son as he discovers new things. I also like cooking, baking, decorating cupcakes for special occasions and trying new restaurants with my husband.
