Danek is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) in the Outpatient Medication Services (OMS) Clinic for the Department of Psychiatry at Atrium Health Behavioral Health, a facility of Carolinas Medical Center.
She specializes in treating adults with depressive and anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, ADHD, psychotic disorders and personality disorders. Danek is fascinated with the mind and body connection and how physical and mental wellness intersect. She enjoys providing additional support with medication management to those with mental health disorders.
She received her master’s degree in nursing from the State University of New York. She completed a fellowship program in psychiatry through Carolinas HealthCare.
In her free time, she enjoys reading, being outdoors, hiking and traveling with her husband.
