Biography

I’m currently the director of endovascular surgery and co-director of the Aortic Institute at Atrium Health Sanger Heart and Vascular Institute.

I received my bachelor’s degree, graduating summa cum laude and my medical degree with honors at Texas A&M University. I completed my internship and my residency at Scott & White Hospital, Texas A&M University Health Science Center.

I completed my clinical vascular fellowship and my endovascular fellowship at Stanford University Hospital, where I also completed a post-doctoral research fellowship.

I’m a member of numerous surgical societies including The Southern Association for Vascular Surgery, International Academy of Clinical and Applied Thrombosis/Homeostasis, Society for Vascular Surgery, International Society of Endovascular Specialists, Peripheral Vascular Surgery Society and American College of Surgeons.

I’m part of one of the largest practices in the U.S. for complex aortic reconstructions with placement of first in man graft for complex aortic arch aneurysms.
