“I chose to practice critical care medicine because I like the variety of illnesses and conditions I am able to treat, from neurological to cardiovascular. I value taking care of people and making them feel better in some of their worst moments.”
Dr. Gage Stuntz is board certified in critical care and emergency medicine.
He received his medical degree at the University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia. He completed residency in emergency medicine at the University of Kentucky, where he was intern of the year, and a fellowship in critical care at Cooper University Hospital, where he was consultant of the year.
A Charlotte native, Dr. Stuntz loves the mountains and coastline of North Carolina. He enjoys gardening, woodworking, long-distance hiking, camping and skiing.
