Harris is a board-certified pediatric nurse practitioner. She specializes in neonatal care. She is the chief advanced practice provider (APP) for Neonatology at Atrium Health Levine Children's Hospital.
She received her bachelor’s degree in nursing at Barry University and both her master’s degree in nursing and pediatric nurse practitioner certification at the University of Virginia. She received her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) at the University of Missouri.
Harris has been actively involved in research on the impact of family-centered care.
She is married with a son and loves to read. She prefers history, mystery, religion, spirituality and self-development books.
