Dr. Wilcox is board certified in family medicine. He is the site-based medical leader at Atrium Health Primary Care Northcross Family Medicine Huntersville.
He is skilled in preventive care for all ages and provides well-woman care. He treats a wide range of conditions, such as allergies, arthritis, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), heart disease, high blood pressure and diabetes, sports injuries, sprains, sleep disturbances, smoking cessation, thyroid disease, depression, anxiety, obesity, urinary tract infections and incontinence. Dr. Wilcox also provides work and school physicals and sexually transmitted disease testing and treatment.
He received his medical degree and completed a residency at the University of Iowa.
