Dr. Shah is board certified in internal medicine. He specializes in hematology-oncology (cancer and blood disorders), with a focus on anemia, thrombocytopenia, hemostasis and thrombosis disorders.
He believes empowering patients to become part of a team can help optimize their care.
Dr. Shah received his medical degree at Louisiana State University. He completed residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a fellowship at The University of Texas, where he served as chief fellow.
Away from work, he enjoys outdoor activities, hiking, spending time with family and cooking.
