Geoffrey Michael McGowan, MD

I believe medicine perfectly balances what makes us human, as it requires compassion, inquiry and partnership to provide high quality care.

I am training in pediatrics and internal medicine. I focus on treating people who are hospitalized.

I was drawn to my practice areas because I value the opportunities to care for acutely ill patients and guide their families through difficult moments.

I have been inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society.

I received my bachelor’s degree with distinction in neuroscience at Duke University and my medical degree at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine. I completed residencies in internal medicine and pediatrics at The Ohio State University Medical Center.

Outside of work, I enjoy watching comedies, dramas and sports, learning new recipes to cook at home, walking, spending time with my wife and playing at the park with my dog, Mitchell.
