Dr. Geoffrey McGowan is training in pediatrics and internal medicine. He focuses on treating people who are hospitalized.
He was drawn to his practice areas because he values the opportunities to care for acutely ill patients and guide their families through difficult moments.
Dr. McGowan has been inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society.
He received his bachelor’s degree with distinction in neuroscience at Duke University and his medical degree at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine. He completed residencies in internal medicine and pediatrics at The Ohio State University Medical Center.
Outside of work, Dr. McGowan enjoys watching comedies, dramas and sports, learning new recipes to cook at home, walking, spending time with his wife and playing at the park with his dog, Mitchell.
