Biography

I believe staying active is essential to a healthy, fulfilling life. My primary training focuses on restoring and maximizing function, whether your goal is returning to sports, lifting weights at the gym, or simply moving through daily life without pain. These tenets are foundational to my approach in caring for every patient who walks through my door.

I take a comprehensive, personalized approach to care, offering activity modification, tailored therapeutic exercise plans, bracing and orthotics alongside state-of-the-art diagnostic testing and advanced ultrasound-guided procedures.

As a former collegiate athlete, I understand firsthand how frustrating an injury can be, and I work collaboratively with my patients to build effective, individualized recovery plans.

I specialize in sports medicine and physical medicine and rehabilitation (PM&R).

I focus on the non-operative management of:

  • Orthopedic conditions
  • Joint and tendon pain
  • Nerve disorders
  • Sports- or activity-related injuries

I earned my degree in osteopathic medicine from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine before completing my PM&R residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, where I served as academic chief resident. I went on to complete specialized sports medicine fellowship training at Emory University.

Throughout my career, I have provided medical coverage for elite athletes across professional and collegiate organizations, including the Atlanta Falcons, Atlanta Hawks, Atlanta United, Georgia Tech and Morehouse College Athletics.

Whether you are dealing with a fresh injury or long-standing joint pain, I am dedicated to helping you move better and get back to doing what you love.

Outside the clinic, I enjoy hiking, weightlifting, running, following college and professional sports and spending time with my wife and two rescue dogs.
