Dr. Gisselle Castellanos Castillo is board certified in pediatrics. Her interests are asthma management, quality improvement and preventive medicine.
She is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Dr. Castellanos Castillo has been working with children since she was in high school, and she loves to see them grow and become partners in their own health care.
Dr. Castellanos Castillo received her medical degree at the Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo (INTEC) in the Dominican Republic. She completed her residency in pediatrics at Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center, affiliated with Weil Cornell Medical College, where she also served as chief resident. She was assistant clinical professor of pediatrics at the University of South Carolina Greenville before relocation to the Charlotte area.
She loves spending time with her daughter, mom, family and friends. She enjoys live music, traveling and learning about other cultures.
